Hailing from Minneapolis the five-piece indie-rock group has been selling out NYC, LA, Chicago, Boston, Philly and more. After coming off the festival circuit they're about to embark on a 35+ date headline tour.

Our favorite song on the album, Under, hits hardest. Raspy vocals carry a Courtney Love-style ache running under 90s guitar riffs that don't let up. Fun fact, the bridge was written while Jackie was on the toilet drunk, and somehow that's exactly the energy the song needed. The rest of the album swings wider: dreamy and melodic on "Crossfire," a Cranberries-esque build on "Paranoia," full throttle on "Arctic." If you're a fan of early Paramore and Hayley Williams, this one won't disappoint.

What does Porch Light sound like?
Classic rock and '90s alt-rock, by the band's own account, guitarist Kyle Siemon has cited growing up on that sound and wanting something heavier than Minneapolis's indie scene offered. Paramore runs especially deep, vocalist Jackie Uhas was discovered singing "Ain't It Fun" at karaoke the night she joined the band.
